Matt Smalley

Matt Smalley is a General Partner and Member of the Investment Committee of Cambridge Capital. He joined the firm in 2018 and directs all aspects of the firm's investment activities. He led Cambridge Capital's investments in Bringg, byrd, Liftit, Parcel Perform, Prism Logistix, ReverseLogix, STAT Recovery, The Moresby Group, and Greenscreens.ai (acquired by Triumph), and works closely with the entire Cambridge portfolio.

Over the last 15+ years, Matt has invested over $1.3 billion into buyout, growth equity, structured equity and venture capital investments globally across various strategies and structures.

Before Cambridge Capital, Matt was a senior member of the Principal Transactions Group of Macquarie Capital, pursuing, executing and monitoring private equity investments in a variety of industries, using Macquarie's balance sheet capital. Before Macquarie, Matt spent over 5 years with Insight Partners, pursuing, executing and monitoring buyout and growth investments in technology companies globally.

Matt graduated with Honors from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business with a dual degree in Finance and General Accounting.
